Gertrude the Chalk Bag
Meet Gertrude
Origin Story: Gertrude began as a sturdy pair of pants. She's not the type to let a tear in her butt stop her; she remade herself into a chalk bag built for adventure. A community member passed along her fleece lining, while her elastic and cordlock were salvaged from a retired jacket. The desert artwork stitched on her front is a treasure discovered at a yard sale. Stitched together and printed with second-hand string and ink, every inch of Gertrude comes from something that already existed. She was handcrafted in SLC, Utah.
